 In a pre-cursor to the new season, the 1st February is imminent and this is the League's cut-off date for Clubs to join (or leave) the MYSCL.
Once this date expires, the League will be in touch with Member Clubs to request confirmation of their officials and to identify any preference to play in either the Championship or Sections (which will be met if possible). Clubs will also be asked to identify any preferred Sundays, and fixtures will be published shortly thereafter. 

With great regret I have to inform you that our President Norman Hazell MBE has passed away.

The family have asked me to circulate the funeral arrangements and these are that Norman's funeral will be on Monday 21 November at 1pm at St Austin's Wentworth Terrace Wakefield.

Norman was our MYSCL President from 2010 but he was also President, and very much a part of, the MYSCL forerunner, the Wakefield District Cricket Union. He was very proud that WDCU reached 125 years and he was equally proud of MYSCL.
